← OneTwo Ski

Version 1.0

First version · coming soon to the App Store

Recording

  • Record skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing, each sport with its own stats
  • Start, pause and finish by holding for 0.8 seconds, even with gloves on; auto-pause per sport
  • Recording keeps running with the iPhone locked and picks up again after a crash
  • The app detects runs, lift rides and breaks on its own; the gondola down to the valley does not count as a run
  • Large speed at the top, pace with one tap, selectable stats below
  • Voice announcements after every run or every 1 to 10 kilometers or miles (off by default) and “Power Saving” for long, cold days
  • Photos with the built-in camera, shown on the map with location and viewing direction

Slopes and map

  • Slopes, cross-country trails and lifts from 36 regions with about 3,900 ski areas from OpenStreetMap, built into the app and available offline
  • Trail sign: name, number and difficulty of the slope or the lift you are on, plus the lines next to it
  • The app suggests the ski area near you
  • Full-screen map with rotation, north up or the whole route; names can be shown or hidden

On the mountain

  • Weather from Apple Weather: now, hourly and seven days ahead, with fresh snow, wind and gusts
  • SOS emergency numbers for 119 countries, even offline; the app never dials by itself
  • Meeting point: “I’m here” or “Meet at …” to your group via the share sheet, also from Apple Watch
  • Weather and SOS can each be hidden in Settings

Fitness and Apple Health

  • Each ski day as a workout in Apple Health if you like, with route, breaks, distance, elevation gain and active energy
  • Calories without lifts, gondolas and breaks; the calculation method is always shown
  • Live heart rate, five heart rate zones and your training load of the last 7 versus 28 days
  • “Pull heart rate from Health” and “Save to Health” are off by default

Diary and season

  • All ski days in the diary, by day or sport, with tags, color tags, filter and search
  • “Ask Diary”: search in your own words, for example “fresh snow last season”; plus suggestions for matching keywords
  • “Ask Help”: describe a question in your own words and the app shows the matching section of the help
  • Details with the track colored by speed, altitude or heart rate, kilometer markers, elevation profile, heart rate chart, charts per run, the day’s timeline and ride and waiting time per lift
  • Week, month, year and season compared with the year before, goals with a progress ring
  • Winter summary with runs collected, milestones and a comparison of weather and performance; a short summary after every ski day
  • Share as an image or ski pass card without health values, export as GPX or TCX

Apple Watch, widgets and Siri

  • Apple Watch: start, pause and finish on your wrist, live heart rate and its own workout
  • Live Activity and Dynamic Island with a pause button, without unlocking
  • “Most Recent Entry” widget for the Home Screen and Lock Screen
  • “Start ski day” and “Pause/Resume” controls for Control Center, Lock Screen and the Action button, start with Siri

Your data and appearance

  • No account, no subscription, no ads, no tracking
  • Optional sync via your private iCloud; you decide on conflicts. Heart rate and body data stay on the device
  • Sample data from Obertauern to try things out, removable at any time
  • Five color schemes in light and dark, metric or imperial, twelve languages
  • Help with “Where the numbers come from” and a short introduction on first launch
